Every undergraduate Atenista is a member and falls under our jurisdiction. Lideratos is structured into three branches, Executive, Legislative, and Judicial, so that all powers ultimately belong to the student body.

What We Do

How we serve you

Our work is driven by service, accountability, and the integral development of every Atenista.

01

Representation and Policy-Making

We are the sole representative of the AdNU student body in every administrative policy-making body, ensuring the student voice is heard in matters that affect your rights and welfare.

02

Legislation and Resource Allocation

Through the Student Congress, we pass bills and resolutions and appropriate student government funds for projects and undertakings that benefit the student body.

03

Executive Action and Services

The Student Central Board, led by the President, executes legislation and manages departments such as Social Services and Budget and Finance to deliver efficient governance.

04

Judicial Oversight and Arbitration

The Student Tribunal arbitrates conflicts within the government, presides over impeachment cases, and keeps every official act constitutional and legal through due process.

05

Protecting Rights and Welfare

Through the Commission on Students' Rights and Welfare, we advocate for student concerns, oversee support services like academic advising, and maintain an environment free from discrimination.

06

Ensuring Accountability and Integrity

The Commission on Audit verifies all financial transactions to prevent extravagant or illegal spending, while the Commission on Elections manages every democratic process, from regular to special elections.

07

Promoting Holistic Development

We cultivate a liberating and transformative educational environment that develops social awareness, national consciousness, and critical thinking.

Branches of the Student Government

Where the powers reside

All powers ultimately belong to the student body, exercised through three co-equal branches of government.

The legislative power is vested in the Student Congress. Its college representatives draft and pass laws, approve budgets, and oversee student government initiatives. The SCon can override presidential vetoes and initiate impeachment proceedings.
